Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the TLG Claims Validation Platform ("Platform") operated by The Liggett Group ("we," "our," or "us"). This Policy supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Intended Use
The Platform is designed for validating factual claims in medical and marketing documents — specifically pharmaceutical promotional materials, prescribing information, patient fact sheets, and similar content. It is intended for use by medical, legal, regulatory, and marketing professionals who need evidence-based review of document claims.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not upload documents that contain:
- Protected health information (PHI). Do not upload documents containing patient-identifiable health data. The Platform is designed for promotional and marketing materials, not patient records or clinical data with personal identifiers.
- Personal data beyond marketing context. Do not upload documents containing personal information (names, addresses, social security numbers, etc.) beyond what normally appears in published marketing materials.
- Malicious files. Do not upload files designed to exploit vulnerabilities, execute code, or disrupt the Platform's operation.
- Prompt injection content. Do not upload documents intentionally crafted to manipulate the Platform's AI processing through embedded instructions, adversarial text, or similar techniques. The Platform includes automated detection for such content.
- Illegal content. Do not upload documents whose content or distribution violates applicable law.
3. Prohibited Behavior
When using the Platform, you must not:
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls. Do not attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limiting, authentication mechanisms, or other access controls.
- Automate access without authorization. Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Platform without our written permission. The Platform is designed for interactive use.
- Reverse engineer the Platform. Do not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or prompts used by the Platform.
- Share account credentials. Do not share your login credentials, session tokens, or authentication methods with others. Each user must have their own account.
- Interfere with the service. Do not take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on the Platform's infrastructure, interferes with other users' access, or disrupts the service.
- Misrepresent Platform output. Do not present the Platform's scorecards or findings as certified, audited, or legally binding assessments. The Platform provides analytical assistance, not regulatory certifications.
- Resell or redistribute. Do not resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Platform or its output without our written permission.
4. Organization Responsibilities
If you are an organization administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that all users within your organization comply with this Policy. Organization administrators should:
- Communicate this Policy to all users within their organization.
- Monitor usage within their organization for compliance.
- Promptly report any known or suspected violations.
- Remove access for users who violate this Policy.
5. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this Policy may result in:
- Warning. For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning.
- Temporary suspension. We may temporarily suspend your account or your organization's access while we investigate a potential violation.
- Permanent termination. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any remaining credits.
- Legal action. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for violations that cause material harm to us or other users.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect the Platform or its users.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Policy — by yourself, another user, or a third party — please report it promptly to:
Email: info@theliggettgroup.com
When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, the account or user involved (if known), and any relevant evidence.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
